Daddy and Me – November events

Daddy and Me – November events

The Dinosaur event is always super fun and well attended.  You and your little one will have LOTS of fun.  The gym nights have been slowly growing and are a great way to get exercise, learn to interact with others and play in a boisterous environment.  Hope to see you at one or both of the events.

Dad’s and other important male caregivers are essential in the physical, emotional and psychological health of their children.  This book by Neil Gaiman is an excellent, honest look at the irreplaceable role Dad’s play in our lives.  I highly recommend it.

Illustration Station and Crafternoons

Illustration Station and Crafternoons

These activities are for kids aged 6 – 12. It’s older than my target group but it’s such a series of events that I had to spread the word.  Anything that brings art and self-expression into our lives is worth pursuing.

At Illustration Station, a featured artist, Louise Ruddell will be working hands-on with kids to use a combination of ink and water-colour materials to bring their sketches and drawings to life.

This free, drop-in program is for kids aged 6-12 … Parents are encouraged to join in on the fun as well!  Hoping to see you and your imagination there.

Saturday Crafternoons are open to all 6 – 12 year olds, EVERY Saturday at the Library in October and November from 1 – 2 pm.

These kids got 60 minutes of physical activity today.  Click below to find out why that’s important. Bring Back Play!
