• Community Garden Launch – Saturday, March 19th

    At the Community Garden Launch, we hosted our regular play activities along with a special surprise.  Featuring a recipe out of the Healthy Meals from Words on Wheels cookbook, we built fruit and veggie kabobs.  Building kabobs has a lot of potential for young children’s development.  Threading fruit onto the skewer builds fine motor skills while varying the colour,

    After March 18, Strong Start and WOW Bus programs are on break until April 4.  Although we hope that winter will give up by then, we hope you will still come visit us at StrongStart.

  • WOW Bus at High on Ice


    The WOW Bus will be at the High on Ice festival from 11:30 – 3:30 on Saturday and Sunday.  Stop in to get warm with us. We’ll have hot chocolate and cookies to share.

  • Games on the WOW Bus -Patch Java

    As part of the Literacy Day celebrations, the Literacy Society is hosting a board game marathon and dramatic readings at Patch Java, Thursday, January 27th from 2 – 8 pm.  This family event is open to everyone!  The WOW Bus will be at this event to provide game opportunities for early learners.  Please come!
