Come and Build – March 2011
February Daddy ‘n’ Me
January’s event was a record breaker! There were 50 children, 32 dads and 2 grampas who came to build healthy bodies and healthy relationships at the NP Gymnastics Club. Join us in February at the Cultural Centre!
More and more we are learning that time spent playing with our kids is an essential part of early childhood development. Children feel valued and gain social skills while playing with their parents. Dad’s play an exceptional role in building confidence in their children,
“I made a picture for you,” Â We hear that a lot from the children in our lives. Â I’m not always as grateful as I should be for the gift.

All of our regular programs are running this month. Â Be sure to keep active and involved this month. Â February is one of the toughest months for northern families. Â It’s still dark and cold and we start to tire of the long winter.
We believe the consistent morning times have been helpful for parents at Robert Ogilvie and Duncan Cran StrongStarts. Â Our attendance is better than ever. Â If you haven’t been by lately, please come see our newly painted rooms and new,
Many Family Place programs are winding down. But Parent/Child Mother Goose and Daddy and Me contintue until June. Drop by.
