Family Literacy Celebrations at the FSJ Public Library

Family Literacy Week 2012 is taking over the town! For our part, the Fort St. John Public Library will be holding three events:

Thursday, January 26th @ 10:15am: Family Story Time

Story Time is always for families, but this week we’d like to see as many family members as possible! Bring your dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins or whoever else is in your family!

Friday, January 27th @ 1:30pm: Family Game Afternoon

Playing board games, card games and dice games is a great way to practice literacy skills and have fun at the same time. On Friday afternoon, we will be taking over the Library space for a family games afternoon. We will have games on hand, but feel free to bring your own!

Saturday, January 28th: Kids’ Film Fest and Library Camp-In Adventure

This is your chance to spend the whole night in the library, surrounded by thousands and thousands of books! The evening starts with a Kids’ Film Fest for everyone, and ends with an overnight adventure if you’re feeling brave! Book your campsite now, as there is limited space.
