I see a lot of blogs on getting active with our kids but this one felt fresh. It was a good reminder for me during this last push of winter. I was at the doctor today and was asked how much time I spend out of doors. May – September we’re out about 3 hours each day. But now … 5 – 20 minutes. That was another wake-up call for me. As we all start to feel blue and contrary headed into March, the answer may lie in more physical activity but equally important, being outside.
On the week-end, we decided to rediscover the sledding hill behind North Peace Secondary. It’s just steep enough to provide some excitement and provide a challenge climbing back up. Hope to see you there.
