The Pre-school Health Round-up is a FUN event. We try to make it engaging for kids and parents alike. There will be lots of interesting activities for kids and valuable information for parents. I always enjoy being a part of this event because it is so supportive of families.
Once again Morgan Peltier, the children’s librarian, has partnered with a community group to use the FSJ Library as a venue for intriguing, literacy and cultural opportunities for children and families. This month the Library is hosting the team from S.U.C.C.E.S.S for a celebration of the Chinese calendar Year of the Snake. There will be food and stories,
Family Literacy Day this year was a great success. The new interactive activities with amazing prizes were an interesting twist on traditional events. There was a games challenge in local restaurants, a family active literacy event,
This month Families in Motion is being hosted by the Family Place and North Peace Community Resources Society at Bert Ambrose Elementary. As usual, the event is held on the 3rd Friday of the month at a community school or centre between 6:00 and 7:30.
February’s events are more spread out. Hopefully this means your family can make it to both events. As usual, Gym Night is the second Wednesday of the month at Robert Ogilvie. The community event is Saturday,
