FSJ Library Camp-In (sleep-over)
The Literacy Day Camp-in was amazing last year. It’s happening again. January 26th is the big day to sleep over, play games, “roast marshmallows” and listen to stories. It’s a whole new way to experience the library. Come see if the books really do whisper at night. Register your camp site today by calling Morgan at the library.
French Immersion Kindergarten
There will be an information session for parents interested in Kindergarten French Immersion, Thursday, January 24th at 6:30 pm at Central School. Registration for all Kindergarten programs starts February 1st, 2013.

We had another successful Daddy and Me Gym Night at Robert Ogilvie tonight. It is inspiring to be a part of an initiative where physical activity, play and Dad time is valued. It’s always a great experience. See everyone next month!Families in Motion
PacificSport opportunities for physical literacy
There are programs, offered locally, to promote physical skills needed for healthy living and for later participation in sport. My daughter has participated in several PacificSport programs and has enjoyed them a lot. There is no pressure to compete and a focus is put on participation. Jennifer Gibson coordinates these programs out of the Pomeroy Sport Centre.
January is Family Literacy Month
The theme for this year’s events is 15 Minutes of FUN! There will be celebrations around town for the whole month of January until Family Literacy Day on Sunday, January 27th.

Pre-School Play Day at the North Peace Leisure Pool
The monthly Pre-School Play Day is tomorrow at the NPLP. This monthly event has the regular admission costs but features special activities for your little ones. Tomorrow Santa and Mrs. Clause will be making a visit.
