Outreach StrongStart at Buick Creek has been open for two sessions with lots of enthusiastic participants. Â If you are able, drop in and have some fun spending a Thursday morning from 9:00 – 11:30am with Eva Bueckert and the other children and parents/caregivers at Buick Creek School.

Temporary closure – Prespatou StrongStart
Prespatou StrongStart will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday September 15, and Wednesday September 16.  Anna has accepted a new position at Prespatou Elementary Secondary School and will no longer be our StrongStart facilitator. Anna will be missed by all the families who have attended Prespatou StrongStart over the past two years.

Tip of the month for September – Talking & Listening. Â It’s as easy as talking about everything you see while you drive, walk, play or even cook supper. Children who are exposed to a lot of language early on are more successful with language and reading later on.

StrongStart Closure
Please be advised that the StrongStart Centers at Duncan Cran, Robert Ogilvie, Hudson’s Hope and Upper Pine will be closed on Friday May 1 to allow Lana, Pam, Toby and Sarah to attend the annual ECEBC (Early Childhood Educators of BC) conference in Vancouver.
