Family Literacy Day Events

Friday, January 27th is Family Literacy Day.  But there are events happening all week to help celebrate! All are family friendly but not all are aimed at pre-schoolers.  All events are free but some require pre-registration.  Check out the ones that might suit your family.

Hey it’s that time again….time to get your talent on and come out and support the Child Development Center and help us reach our goal of $100,000.

January Daddy and Me Gym Night

Dr. Martin Brokenleg – Circle of Courage Workshop

We are very fortunate to have Dr. Martin Brokenleg coming to our community February 28th.   Dr. Martin Brokenleg is a national and internationally re-nowned Lakota Sioux family-care expert and co-author of “Reclaiming Youth at Risk: Our Hope for the Future”.   This event is open to the public.

Early Immersion registration and Information session

If you have a child entering Kindergarten this fall or currently in Kindergarten, he or she is eligible to register in french immersion.  The Immersion program has been running in Fort St. John for almost 30 years and has positively impacted  hundreds of local students.  Contact Central School for more information,
