• Daddy and Me Gym Night

    Great turnout for Daddy and Me Gym Night tonight.  SD 60 is pleased to provide this event to our community.  We love to promote playful learning and honour the role dads play in the lives of children.  It also gets kids and dads active which if you hadn’t noticed is my current soapbox.  It was a great time.  Join us next month!

    As we head back to school, I am trying to get my family more active.  Weird, right?  We were outside a lot over the summer but it was a quiet, restful time.   Going back to school and work reminds me to get moving.   For some people,

    Pick a jar. Fill it with active ideas you can do with your loved ones.  Pull one out and commit to doing it with your family.  Get active.

  • Daddy and Me September events

    Daddy and Me events start again early in September.  Each month, there is a community event and a gym night.  You are welcome to attend either or both.  It’s free and drop-in.  Come whenever you can.

  • Daddy and Me June events

    On May 26th, 27 children and 24 dads attended the May Daddy and Me Free swim at the North Peace Leisure Pool.  It was a huge success.  A big thank-you to Karin and staff for a very successful Daddy and Me Free swim event.
