    Hello folks,
    I’m proud to announce FSJ Library’s first Stuffed Animal Sleepover! The first weekend in December, kids can drop their favourite teddy or stuffy off at the Library to spend the night.

  • Daddy and Me

    21 children and 17 Dads (a couple of Grandpas) participated in our Sept. Event:  Bowling When the children were waiting for their turn to bowl, we saw a lot of Daddy and Me cuddle time. It was a great celebration of “dad time”.

  • Summer Library Fun


    Check out this link to the Library Summer Reading program.  This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate literacy in community with other families.  The summer staff is excellent!

  • Michael Kusugak is coming to the Public Library

    On Saturday, April 30 at 2 pm, Michael Kusugak is coming to the Fort St. John Library for an hour of storytelling.  This is a rare and awesome privilege for our community.  This is one of my favourite authors.

  • Family Literacy Day events

    
    Thursday, January 27th is Family Literacy Day.  There are several events going on around town.  The theme this year is Play for Literacy.  Check out Patch Java, the FSJ Public Library and your local school for events.

  • Special Library events in January

    Lots of opportunity at the FSJ Public Library this month.  Pre-school and elementary story times continue on Wednesday and Thursday at 10:15 am and Saturdays at 2 pm.  These are an excellent way to introduce your family to the library.

  • Library Story Times – Food for Fines

    Library story times can be an easy way to introduce the library to your little one.  No registration is required.
