On May 26th, 27 children and 24 dads attended the May Daddy and Me Free swim at the North Peace Leisure Pool. It was a huge success. A big thank-you to Karin and staff for a very successful Daddy and Me Free swim event.

Here is the May/June calendar for The Family Place at the North Peace Community Resources Society. The spring session of Nobody’s Perfect Parenting is already full but there will be another session in the fall. Mother Goose continues Thursday evenings and Friday mornings until mid-June. Family Fun Night is over for this season but will start again in the fall. Daddy and Me May events are Gym Night,
Pregnancy and Childbirth support
At the trade fair this week-end, I happened upon the most unexpected booth. I’ve heard of doulas but wrongly assumed these were options available only in larger centres. Mary Neudorf and Linda Siemens are offering their pregnancy support services locally. I don’t have specific information about these ladies but was excited to hear the option exists for couples who are interested.

Another amazing Daddy and Me event. Take a look at a few of the highlights. Unfortunately, our photographer missed a few people. There was a very enthusiastic crowd with some fabulous little personalities. Many dads were new to Daddy and Me,
