  • What is play?

On Saturday, at my weekly yoga class, I found myself bent in half attempting to balance on my elbows with my legs splayed out.  I was frustrated but exhilarated, exhausted but persistent.  It was not pretty and I felt very self conscious.  The instructor said,

  • The Ripple Effect of Resiliency

Dr. Martin Brokenleg’s work on belonging, Dr. Richard Neufeld’s on attachment, Dr. Stuart Shanker’s on self-regulation and Mary Gordon’s Roots of Empathy program all resonate with me when working with children or raising my own kids.  Belonging,

  • Pre-School Health Round-up

Health screening for pre-schoolers is tomorrow.
The Pre-school Health Round-up is a FUN event.  We try to make it engaging for kids and parents alike.  There will be lots of interesting activities for kids and valuable information for parents.  I always enjoy being a part of this event because it is so supportive of families.
