Families in Motion – Physical Activity for pre-schoolers
Together with the Family Friendly Initiative, Fort St. John Friendship Centre, Fort St. John Child Development Centre and North Peace Community Resources Society we, School District 60, will be offering a gross motor development pilot project from February-May on a rotating schedule.

Friday, January 27th is Family Literacy Day. But there are events happening all week to help celebrate! All are family friendly but not all are aimed at pre-schoolers. All events are free but some require pre-registration. Check out the ones that might suit your family.

We are very fortunate to have Dr. Martin Brokenleg coming to our community February 28th.  Dr. Martin Brokenleg is a national and internationally re-nowned Lakota Sioux family-care expert and co-author of “Reclaiming Youth at Risk: Our Hope for the Futureâ€.  This event is open to the public.
Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program
NOBODY’S PERFECT- is an 8 week parent-centered program guided by two trained facilitators, for parents of children birth-5 years. Parents will receive a kit containing 5 parenting booklets. The program is FREE but requires pre-registration.
