• Daddy and Me May events

    There are four spring events remaining before the summer break.  In May, Child Care Resource and Referral is hosting a creepy crawly, bug extravaganza.  We hope to see you at the gym or with the insects.

    We are learning that the softer side of parenting and educating can be more important than anything else we do with kids.  In essence, it is not what we do with children that matters; it’s who we are in their lives that counts.

  • Daddy and Me – November events

    The Dinosaur event is always super fun and well attended.  You and your little one will have LOTS of fun.  The gym nights have been slowly growing and are a great way to get exercise, learn to interact with others and play in a boisterous environment.  Hope to see you at one or both of the events.

  • Fort St. John loves Families Week – Oct. 13th – 20th

    Only 7 sleeps until Family Week starts!  If you don’t measure time between exciting events in sleeps you might be on the wrong website. But Fort St. John loves Families Week has something for all ages from infants to seniors.  Check out the special events all around town,

  • Right from the Start – Early Learning conference

    The annual Dawson Creek Parent and Caregiver conference is coming soon.  The conference takes place October 11th – 13th at the Kiwanis Arts Centre 1100 – 95th Avenue, Dawson Creek, BC.
    The conference has a minimal cost and a variety of presenters aiming to support parents and caregivers of children 0 –

    October’s Daddy and Me Story Time at the Library was a great success.  Morgan Peltier, children’s librarian, lined up two dads to read stories.  Stephen Petrucci, pictured here, brought his guitar and sang with the children and their dads.
